19.3.04 Step "mount/detach quiescent current retention unit" removed. Step "Release radio, set time, set time for stationary heater" added.    
REMOVINGINSTALLING Disconnect, connect    
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

4 Disconnect ground line (2) from battery (G1) IMPORTANT Location of battery (G1):
  • Model 461, 463 up to 31st August 96: Location of battery in engine compartment (A).
  • Model 463 as of 1st September 96 except model 463.243/244/245/ 246/247/248/249/250/254/270/271/ 303/309/322/323/332/333/340/341: Location of battery left of load compartment (B).
  • Model 463.243/244/245/246/247/248/ 249/250/254/270/271/303/309/322/ 323/332/333/340/341: Location of battery (G1) in rear legroom

5 Connect in the reverse order.
