Removing and installing lower bracket for jacket tube - AR46.10-P-0600-02A

Removal 

1. Loosen screws (82a) and remove bracket (82).
2. Remove conical rings (82b).

   Installation 

3. Install conical rings (82b) in the outer jacket tube.
4. Attach bracket (82) with spigot towards the engine.
5. By alternately tightening the screws (82a) in the conical rings (82b) secure the bracket.

   

   The bracket must be mounted on the jacket tube centrally and without any play. In order to ensure satisfactory height adjustment of the steering wheel, it must be possible to tilt the bracket against a slight friction torque (approx. 0.5 Nm).
