Loose ETC connector and/or transmission or contacting fault	Check connectors
Wiring harness damaged, short-circuit, chafing marks	Check wiring harness to ground
Solenoid valve contact tongues bent	Bend back contact tongue
Solenoid valve defective	Replace solenoid valve
Short-circuit on supporting body due to metal chips	Remove chips Only up to transmission end no. 393328, after that supporting body modified
ETC output stage faulty	Replace ETC
