Removal & Installation
- If vehicle is equipped with level control system, release hydraulic pressure. See HYDRAULIC PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove trunk lining. Remove nut and rubber ring of upper shock mount.
- Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect hydraulic line (if equipped) from shock absorber. Remove lower suspension arm cover. See Figure. Remove shock absorber mounting bolt. Remove shock absorber from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. On vehicles with level control system, refill hydraulic system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM REFILL .
