Removing, installing rubber boot and sealing ring - AR46.10-P-0600-07BF

TORQUE SPECIFICATION Torque Specification

Removing 

  1. Pull off rubber boot (85a).
  2. Unscrew sleeve of sealing ring (79a) and remove sealing ring.

    Installing 

  3. Push on sealing ring (79a).
  4. Adjust dimension ( ) between sealing ring (79a) and sealing ring (75b).
  5. Screw on sleeve of sealing ring (79a).

  6. Grease rubber boot (85a) at the appropriate locations (arrows) with Isoflex Topas NCA 152 grease.
  7. Push on rubber boot (85a) and press into lower bearing.
  8. Check concerting shape of rubber boot and correct if necessary.
  9. Check movement of rubber boot (85a) on the bearing and correct seating on bearings if necessary.
