Removing and installing contact spiral - AR46.10-P-0200B

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Remove steering wheel IMPORTANT Front wheels in straight-ahead position  
    Model 170, 208. AR46.10-P-0100C
    Model 210. AR46.10-P-0100B 
2 Only unscrew fixing bolts (32h) until the contact spiral (A45) can be removed. IMPORTANT The fixing bolts are used as an anti-rotation device or assembly aid at the same time.  
3 Carefully remove contact spiral (A45) from jacket tube IMPORTANTInstallation  : Push on contact spiral (A45) up to the stop; the recess must align with the fixing lug (arrows) and the connector (a, b).
NOTES If the contact spiral was twisted, e.g. when the steering coupling was removed ↓
 
    Adjust center position of contact spiral. AR46.10-P-0200-01A 
INSPECT Checking     
4 Check contact spiral (A45) for damage Visual inspection.
IMPORTANT The upper (32f) and lower sections (32g) of the contact spiral are clipped together and can only be separated due to the effect of excess forces or defective assembly. If this is the case, wind the contact spiral up carefully and assemble with care, not pinching or kinking the contact spiral (32e).
NOTESDo not use oil or grease! 
 
5 Install in reverse order
