Detaching and attaching lower steering shaft - AR46.10-P-0500-01BF

TORQUE SPECIFICATION Steering shaft

Number Designation Model 210
BA46.10-P-1005-01B Bolt, lower steering shaft to upper steering shaft Nm 70

Detaching 

  1. Unscrew bolt (95) from upper steering shaft (70g) and remove lower steering shaft (80a).

    Attaching 

  2. Mount lower steering shaft (80a) on upper steering shaft (70g), observe installed position (arrows).

    IMPORTANTInstalled position: 

    In the plan view, the triggering lug on the left (arrow a) and the recess in the right of the lower steering shaft (arrow b) must be aligned

  3. Attach and tighten new bolt (95).
