Location Two steering dampers (5b, 5c) are integrated in the screwed fittings on the control valve.
Task The steering dampers assume the task of the steering damper which was previously located separately, i.e. to dampen the forces/shocks which are transmitted from the road via the steering linkage.
Function The high-pressure oil is led unrestricted through four holes in the disk (5e) past the non-return valve (5f) into the power cylinder.
On the other hand, the oil flowing back from the power cylinder, via four additional offset holes in the disk (5e), is damped by the disk spring (5d).
