- Voltage not too high or too low

- Circuit 15 on or
- Circuit 15R on or
- Driver's door open.
Actuation of the steering column up/down switch (S91s11) or the steering column in/out switch (S91s12) is read in by the front driver-side door control module (N69/1) . The door control module transmits a CAN-message for adjusting the steering column in the selected direction to the driver-side ESA control module (N32/1) as long as the switch is pressed and the function prerequisites are fulfilled. The CAN-message can be transmitted for a maximum of 50 seconds. The driver-side ESA control module (N32/1) controls the motors for adjusting the steering column accordingly.
