Function Test
CAUTION:
To avoid damaging control modules all electrical testing should be done with a DVOM. DO NOT use an analog meter or test light to check control module circuits.
Use function tests charts to determine which system test to perform. See Fig 1. If problem is identified, perform appropriate test procedure under SYSTEM TESTS . If problem is not identified, continue diagnosis. See SYMPTOM INDEX .
