Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
NOTE:
Erasing of stored diagnostic trouble codes must begin within 20 seconds of reading the diagnostic trouble code. After 20 seconds, the diagnostic trouble code can no longer be erased. Erasing procedure can be restarted by performing diagnostic trouble code memory readout after the fault is again displayed.
- Press start button for 2-4 seconds.
- Wait 3 seconds, then press start button for 6-8 seconds, thereby erasing the previously displayed diagnostic trouble code from memory.
- Each stored diagnostic trouble code must be erased individually.
