Disconnecting, connecting engine wiring harness - AR01.00-P-2410H

ENGINE 604, 605, 606 in MODEL 210 as of 1.6.96

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Disconnect ground cable (W10) of battery   AR54.10-P-0003A
2 Remove component compartment cover (2)    
3 Unplug connector (X22) in the right of the component compartment    
4 Unplug connector (A2) at fuse and relay module (K40/4)    
5 Unplug connector (A1) at fuse and relay module (K40/4)    
6 Separate plug connection of injection pump (Y23/1) at component partition IMPORTANT Use a screwdriver to press security catch  
7 Pull out rubber seal of splash panel and remove cables behind trim panel    
8 Disconnect cable of intake air temperature sensor (B17)    
9 Unplug connector of glow output stage (N14/2) IMPORTANT Pull cable through below windscreen washer reservoir (3); slacken securing bolt for this purpose and raise reservoir  
10 Disconnect wiring harness (G2) of generator    
11 Remove bottom part of noise encapsulation (4)    
12 Unbolt terminal block (X4) circuit 30 in left footwell IMPORTANT Unbolt cable at the outside of the body; pull off plastic cap for this step and unbolt bracket  
13 Unbolt engine ground (W11/1) (ground strap) IMPORTANT Unbolt cable at transmission  
14 Install in the reverse order
