Remove and installing catalytic converter or front exhaust system - AR49.10-P-5531EA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove/install lower engine compartment covering    
2 Remove/install exhaust system as from flange connection    
3 Disconnect O2 sensor connectors (G3/3x1, G3/4x1)    
4 Unscrew bolts (1) on catalytic converter/exhaust manifold flange connection If bolts are sluggish, or thread damaged: ↓  
    Replace the rivet nuts in the exhaust manifold. AR49.10-P-5531-01DA 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA14.10-P-1002-01B 
5 Unscrew nuts (6a) and remove three-way catalytic converter (2)    
6 Unscrew O2 sensor (G3/3, G3/4) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Coat thread on oxygen sensor with heat-resistant lubricant *BR00.45-Z-1005-06A 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA14.00-P-1001-01A 
    SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
7 Install in the reverse order
