	Remove, install connector
	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead acid batteries.	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery
2	Remove connector housing cover (A)	To do this, press out detent lugs (1) slightly on left and right using a screwdriver (Fig 1) and simultaneously push connector housing cover (A) towards metal bracket.
3	Release gray secondary lock (2) (Fig 2)	Press detent lug to the left using a screwdriver or needle.
4	Release gray secondary lock (3) (Fig 3)	Press down detent lug to left and right while pushing the secondary lock (3) towards the metal bracket until it locks in place.
5	Release 9-pin connector B on underside of connector C (Fig 4)	Press detent lug outwards.
6	Release 2-pin connector D on underside of connector C (Fig 5)	Press detent lug to the right.
N	Inspect connector for damage.	Replace if necessary. Be extremely careful when replacing the connector. Incorrect assignment can cause cable fire.
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Check programming of multi-function control module (N10-1)	Program if necessary. After exchanging, disconnecting or connecting and diagnosis of the control module, there may be a delay when the first function is called.
10	Erase fault memory
