Function of rear power window safety feature - GF72.29-P-3008A

MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 210.081 /281, 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97 

The rear power window safety feature disables the function of the rear power window switches (S21/3)  and (S21/4)  in the rear doors. The position of the rear power window safety switch (N72s5)  id communicated to the rear driver-side door control module (N69/3)  and rear passenger-side door control module (N69/4)  by the lower control panel control module (N72)  via CAN  . As long as the switch is in the "on" position actuation of the rear power window switches (S21/3)  and (S21/4)  is ignored by the door control modules.
