Function of left/right outside rearview mirror defroster - GF88.79-P-2000B

Function sequence 

1. Function prerequisites
   • Circuit 15 ON
   • Circuit 61 ON
2. The thermostat on the rear of the mirror glass measures the temperature of the mirror glass.
3. At a mirror glass temperature of ≤ 15 °C the mirror defroster is switched on by the thermostat.

1. 3 Upon reaching a mirror glass temperature ≥ 25 °C the mirror defroster is switched off by the thermostat.
2. 4 The mirror defroster continues to be switched on and off until the mirror glass temperature remains ≥ 15 °C.

The mirror defroster receives power from the front driver-side door control module (N69/1) and front passenger-side door control module (N69/2).
