Fault memory of pneumatic system equipment, general notes on diagnosis, advanced information, PSE - AD80.20-P-2000-09B

IMPORTANT

The fault memory can only  be read out and erased using the Hand-Held Tester  .

The fault memory of the radio frequency/infrared remote central locking with DAS 3 can be accessed via the HHT mask as follows: 

Functions - locking systems - central locking or remote trunk release - fault memory.

It should be noted when reading out the fault memory that not all the fault codes of the CL, RTR, MCS, RHR, MVA systems are stored in the PSE control module (combined) (A37). 

The fault codes not in the PSE control module (combined) (A37) can be found in the driver-side signal-acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) or lower control field control module (N72).

>Ω Resistance too high

<Ω Resistance too low

SHORT-CIRCUIT TO POSITIVE Short-circuit to +

SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND Short-circuit to -

OPEN-CIRCUIT Cable open-circuit

IMPORTANT

Abbreviations 

These abbreviations appear in bold in column 3 of the fault code table and are used to show which control module the faults are stored in.
