Receiving remote control signal, function - GF80.20-P-4011A

MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081 /281, 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97

The radio frequency signal from the remote control key is received by the RF receiver.  The infrared signal is received by the left front door IR receiver (A26/1)  or the right front door IR receiver (A26/2)  . The control module connected to the receiver in question evaluates the signal. The code contained in the signal for access authorization and the remote control command are relayed on to the electronic ignition switch (EIS) control module (N73)  as a CAN message. The EIS checks the code for access authorization.
