Trunk lamp, function - GF82.20-P-2008A

MODEL 202 (except 202.07 /08 /18) as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081, 210 (except 210.2 /081) as of 1.3.97 

When the trunk lid is opened the contact in the trunk lamp switch (S17/8)  is closed causing the trunk lamp (E18/1)  to switch on. The switching state is also read in by the PSE control module (combined) (A37)  . The trunk lamp can be switched off with the trunk lid open by pulling the switch tappet to the catch position.
