Function of combination switch - GF82.30-P-2100-04A

Turn signal switch (S4s1): 

The turn signal switch (S4s1) has three positions:

Flashing off (b), flashing left (a) and flashing right (c).

The switch position is read in as a voltage coded signal by the electronic ignition switch (EIS) control module (N73).

Headlamp flasher/headlamp switch (S4s2) 

As long as the headlamp flasher/headlamp switch (S4s2) is actuated circuit 15R is connected to circuit 56a. The headlamps are switched on directly through the combination switch (S4).

Low beam switch (S4s3) 

When the low beam switch (S4s3) is actuated circuit 56 is connected to circuit 56a and the headlamps are switched on directly through the combination switch (S4).

Single-wipe/wash switch (S4s4): 

When pressed to the pressure point (b) the wipers wipe the windshield once. If the switch is pressed beyond the pressure point (c), the windshield washer and headlamp cleaning system (only on model 202 with code 600a) are activated.

The switch position is read in as a voltage coded signal by the electronic ignition switch (EIS) control module (N73).

Wiper speed switch (S4s5): 

The wiper speed switch (S4s5) has four positions:

Wiper off (a), intermittent wipe (b), slow wipe (c), fast wipe (d).

The switch position is read in as a voltage coded signal by the electronic ignition switch (EIS) control module (N73).
