Function of braking wiper motor - GF82.30-P-4007A

MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081 /281,210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97

If a wiping operation is to be completed properly, the wiper arm must stop in the rest position. For this purpose the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1)  reads in the status of the cam switch. The cam switch is actuated as it moves passed the rest position. The SAM switches off the relay and brakes the wiper motor (M6/1)  by short circuiting via an electronic circuit.

IMPORTANT

If circuit 15R is switched off before reaching the rest position, the motor stops immediately.
