Removing and installing throttle control cable - AR30.10-P-3400H

ENGINE 604, 605.910/912/960, 606.912

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing, installing     
1 Compress plastic clip (32/4) and pull out of bracket of accelerator control lever (31/3) together with bowden cable    
2.1 Release restoring spring (33/1) Model 202  
3 Detach bowden cable mount (arrow) at accelerator pedal lever (33) Pull out bracket with expanding pin (33/2) for this step, press in  
4 Press bowden cable (32) to the outside, from the interior of the car Do not press out rubber grommet (32/6)  
5 Take out bowden cable (32) completely, working from engine compartment Inspect rubber grommet (32/6), replace if necessary
IMPORTANT Bowden cable with spring in bowden cable mount. At WOT, the accelerator pedal lever travel is increased by compressing the spring. This enables the kickdown switch to operate.
 
6 Install in the reverse order    
7 Check accelerator control, adjust if necessary Engine 604.910, 605.910/960 in model 202 with automatic transmission 722.4 AR30.10-P-1010HB
    Engine 604.912, 605.912, 606.912 in model 210 with automatic transmission 722.4 AR30.10-P-1010HD 
    Engine 604, 605, 606.91 with manual transmission 717.4
Engine 604, 605, 606.91 with automatic transmission 722.6
