INSPECT Check     
DANGER Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1 Carry out visual inspection IMPORTANT Check individual parts for damage, corrosion and wear  
MEASURING Measuring camber strut     
2 Remove camber strut (2) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0110B
    Model 171 AR35.20-P-0110V
    Model 203, 209 AR35.20-P-0110P
3 Insert measuring pins (041a, 041b)    
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Measuring pin for rear-axle wheel control   WF58.50-P-4030-01A
4 Measure dimension (L1) on both sides   *BE40.30-P-1001-03A 
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Measuring caliper *WH58.30-Z-1006-12A 
5 Remove measuring pins (041a, 041b)    
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Measuring pin for rear-axle wheel control   WF58.50-P-4030-01A
6 Install camber strut (2) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0110B
    Model 171 AR35.20-P-0110V
    Model 203, 209 AR35.20-P-0110P
MEASURING Measuring tension arm     
7 Remove torque strut (3) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0111B
    Model 171 AR35.20-P-0111V
    Model 203, 209 AR35.20-P-0111P
8 Insert measuring pins (041b, 041c)    
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Measuring pin for rear-axle wheel control   WF58.50-P-4030-01A
9 Measure dimension (L4) on both sides   *BE40.30-P-1001-03A 
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Measuring caliper *WH58.30-Z-1006-12A 
10 Remove measuring pins (041b, 041c)    
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Measuring pin for rear-axle wheel control   WF58.50-P-4030-01A
11 Install torque strut (3) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0111B
    Model 171 AR35.20-P-0111V
    Model 203, 209 AR35.20-P-0111P
MEASURING Measuring track rod     
12 Remove tie rod (4) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0112B
    Model 171 AR35.20-P-0109V
    Model 203, 209 AR35.20-P-0112P
13 Insert measuring pin (041b). IMPORTANT Mark center point of tie rod end.

14 Measure dimension (L3)   *BE40.30-P-1001-03A 
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Caliper gage, measuring range up to 400 mm *WH58.30-Z-1006-12A 
15 Remove measuring pin (041b).    
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Measuring pin for rear-axle wheel control   WF58.50-P-4030-01A
16 Install tie rod (4) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0112B
    Model 171 AR35.20-P-0109V

MEASURING Measuring torque strut     
17 Remove thrust arm (5) Model 129, 170, 202, 208, 210 AR35.20-P-0113B

18 Insert measuring pins (041b, 041c)
