Set the clock spring contact to center position - AR46.10-P-0200-01A

IMPORTANT The center position of the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) is crucial for the trouble-free function of the airbag system and signaling system. In the removed condition, the bolts (32h) ensure that the position is maintained.

  1. Remove fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45).
  2. Screw bolts (32h) completely into the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45).
  3. Turn fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) counterclockwise until a slight resistance is detectable.

    IMPORTANT The fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) is rolled up completely.

  4. Turn fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) approx. 2.5 to 3 turns clockwise until mounting bolts (32h) can be removed again through openings and fix fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) in position.

    IMPORTANT The total adjustment range of the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) is approx. 5 to 6 turns.
