Removing, installing and replacing duo valve - AR83.25-P-1150E

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation and replacement     
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to scalding from hot coolant spraying out. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant Only open cooling system at coolant temperatures below 90°C. Unscrew cap slowly and relieve pressure. Do not pour coolant into drinking containers. Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
1 Release pressure in cooling system IMPORTANT For this purpose, turn radiator cap to catch "1" and then reclose  
2 Remove cover above right of component compartment    
3 Remove electrical connectors from control modules    
4 Unscrew nuts (16) on unit support (15)    
5 Remove unit support (15)    
6 Attach clips to hot water hoses (17)    
7 Loosen hose clamps (18) on hot water hoses (17)    
8 Detach hot water hoses (17) on duo valve (Y21)    
9 Disconnect electrical connector (19) on duo valve (Y21)    
10 Unscrew nuts (20) on component panel    
11 Remove duo valve (Y21) with bracket (14)    
12 Remove bracket (14) on duo valve (Y21)    
13 Remove rubber buffer (13) on duo valve (Y21)    
14 Reinstall in opposite order IMPORTANT Installation: ↓
After completion of work, replenish missing coolant and check for leakage
