Removing and installing electronic ignition switch control module - AR80.57-P-1000F

MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 210 as of 1.3.97

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Remove cover below instrument panel on left Model 202 AR68.10-P-1500E
    Model 210 AR68.10-P-1500F
2 Remove electric steering lock IMPORTANT only model 210 AR46.10-P-0910A
3 Unscrew round cover plate (1) with special tool SPECIAL TOOL Fig 2
4 Pull electronic ignition switch (N73) toward rear out of protective cushion IMPORTANTInstallation:  Reattach spacer sleeve to electronic ignition switch (N73)  
5 Remove shift lock control cable (2) from electronic ignition switch (N73) IMPORTANT only with automatic transmission  
6 Disconnect electrical connectors (3) from electronic ignition switch (N73) IMPORTANT some with installation and removal aid  
7 Reinstall in opposite order IMPORTANTInstallation:  When replacing the electronic ignition switch (N73) program switch according to programming instructions included with programming station
