Removal & Installation (S320, S350, S420 & S500)

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Using a 32-mm 12-point socket, remove rear axle shaft collar nut. Remove axle shaft flange to differential bolts. Support inner axle shaft.
  2. DO NOT allow axle shaft to hang against outer CV joint. Using a press, remove axle shaft from hub flange. Remove axle shaft from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
