Removal and installation of lock cylinder for glove compartment - RA68001290125X(68-125)

Operation number of the operation texts and work units or standard texts and flat rates respectively

Glove compartment cover (1) open.
Lock cylinder (2) turn to right to 45° position with ignition key.
Lock cylinder (2) remove, for this purpose insert round wire pin dia. 1.5 mm, minimum length 45 mm into hole located at circumference of lock cylinder. This unhooks the catch for the lock cylinder and the lock cylinder can be pulled out of the housing with the ignition key.
Ignition key leave inserted in lock cylinder so that tumblers do not fall out.
Screw (arrow) screw out on bottom of lock cylinder housing.
Housing pull out. Observe installation note.
Electrical connection on housing disconnect.
Install in reverse order.  
Perform function check.  

Installation note 

When installing the lock cylinder housing insert the driver lever from the vacuum element into the housing recess.
