NOTE: SL320 and SL500 differential and axle shaft overhaul information is not available.

Differential assembly is hypoid gear type with separate axle shafts. Removable rear cover permits inspection and service of differential. Models may be equipped with either automatic locking differential (ASD) or limited slip differential.
