Camber Strut: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove camber strut-to-axle carrier bolt. See Figure. Remove camber strut-to-wheel carrier bolt. Remove shaped washer and flat washer. Force strut clamping sleeve from wheel carrier.
- While pulling slightly outward on wheel carrier, remove camber strut at axle carrier. Replace camber strut assembly if rubber mounts are worn or damaged.
WARNING:
During camber strut installation, when lifting wheel carrier until rear axle shaft is horizontal, ensure vehicle does not lift off of hoist. Add additional weight to trunk as necessary.
