Activating steering angle sensor - AR46.10-P-0300-01A

IMPORTANT

If the battery is disconnected or the power supply to the steering angle sensor is interrupted the ADS or ESP control module switches to malfunction.

The ADS or ESP malfunction indicator lamp (A1e27 or A1e42) come on.

It is necessary to reactivate the steering angle sensor to eliminate the malfunction.

Activating steering angle sensor 

  1. Start engine and allow to idle.
  2. Turn steering wheel from lock to lock

The ADS or ESP malfunction indicator lamp (A1e27 or A1e42) should go out.
