	Removal/installation
1	Disconnect battery ground line	Insulate terminal of ground cable to prevent accidental contact between disconnected ground cable and ground point.	AR54.10-P-0003A
2	Remove bottom engine compartment panel		AR61.20-P-1105AB
3.1	Remove viscous fan coupling	Engine 119	ra20001193120x
4	Remove ribbed V-belt	Engine 113.940/980	AR13.22-P-1202B

5.1	Remove air pump	Engine 119, only	AR14.30-P-7251EA
6.1	Remove bracket (5)	Engine 119 When removing bracket, ensure that bolt (4d) is unscrewed last. Clean threaded holes Use new micro-encapsulated bolts.

7	Disconnect electrical line circuit 30 (B+)(1) and electrical line circuit 61(D+) (2)		*BA15.40-P-1001-01A

8	Unscrew alternator screws (3)		*BA15.40-P-1003-01A
9	Remove alternator (G2) downwards
10	Install in the reverse sequence
