Raise engine - AR01.10-P-7500-03B

For 8-cylinder engines 

  1. Insert suitable bolts from below left and right into the shock absorber mount
  2. Push on shock absorber rubber mount above with plate and screw on nut.
  3. Attach support brace at the rear to engine support rack (065).
  4. Place engine support rack (065) in position.

    NOTES Ensure that no cables and hose are damaged.

  5. Lift engine.

    IMPORTANT Hook in the hook into engine lifting eyes to do this.

For 6-cylinder engines 

  1. Insert suitable bolts from below left and right into the shock absorber mount.
  2. Push on shock absorber rubber mount above with plate and screw on nut.
  3. Attach support brace at the rear to engine support rack (065).
  4. Place engine support rack (065) in position.

    NOTES Ensure that no cables and hose are damaged.

  5. Fix shackle with chain on the second support bar hole from the front. If necessary bring the hole about 180 mm (dimension X) from the front to the same height as the first hole with a 16 mm diameter.
  6. Fix engine at the rear using a suitable chain (tensile loading) via the engine suspension lugs and the shackle to the support bar and lift engine.
