The interior door handle illumination (E17/11 to E17/14)  and the footwell lamps (E17/5 to E17/8)  are a part of the control illumination.

Switching on the interior door handle illumination and footwell illumination: 

• by manually switching on the parking or driving lights with the exterior lamp switch (S1)

Switching off the interior door handle illumination and footwell illumination: 

• switches off itself with a time delay when the parking lights or headlamps are switched off
