Test 9: Driver's Side Mirror Dimming Activation

Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure interior lights are off. Cover light sensor on back side of interior mirror. Shine a bright light on mirror side of interior mirror. Using a voltmeter, backprobe between terminals No. 7 and 8 at driver's door control module harness connector No. 2. If 0-1.5 volts exists, driver's side mirror dimming activation is okay at this time. If 0-1.5 volts does not exist, check the following as possible cause and repair as necessary:
- Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Perform TEST 6: INTERIOR MIRROR DIMMING VOLTAGE SUPPLY .
- Replace interior mirror.
- Replace driver' door control module.
- Replace roof panel control module.
