Power mirror adjustment is sent as a CAN data message from lower control field control module to corresponding door control module. The door control module sends the signal to corresponding mirror.

The voltage coded memory signal from driver's door control switch is recorded in the driver's door control module. The driver's door control module in turn directly actuates driver's side mirror and sends a signal through the CAN data lines to passenger's door control module. The passenger's door control module then actuates passenger's side mirror.

When gear selector in placed in Reverse, a signal from reverse light switch is sent to the lower control field control module. The lower control field control module then send that signal to passenger's door control module through CAN data line. The passenger's door control module then actuates passenger's side mirror.
