Removal & Installation
- If vehicle is equipped a level control system, release hydraulic pressure in suspension system. See HYDRAULIC PRESSURE RELEASE . On all vehicles, remove trunk lining. Remove nut and rubber ring of upper shock mount.
- Disconnect hydraulic line (if equipped). Raise and support vehicle. Remove lower suspension arm cover. See Figure. Remove shock absorber mounting bolt and shock absorber from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. On vehicles with a level control system, refill hydraulic system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM REFILL .
