	Removal, installation
1	Connect quiescent current retention unit		AR54.10-P-1030-07I
			*WH58.30-Z-1012-09A
	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead acid batteries.	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
2	Disconnect ground cable of battery	Insulate cable terminal of ground lead to prevent unintentional contact between the disconnected ground lead and ground point W10.	AR54.10-P-0003A

3	Remove side cover on left side of trunk
4	Unscrew welding bolt nut (2) from cradle (1)
5	Unscrew nut (3) from side wall
6	Lift cradle (1) with all control modules out of wheelhouse and place in trunk	Do not damage wiring harness.
7.1	Release connectors on D2B interface for cellular telephone (A59/1) and disconnect	Do not kink or stretch D2B fiber optic cable.
7.2	Release fiber optic cable and disconnect	Install caps on fiber optic cable connector and equipment connector
8	Turn over cradle (1)
9	Release connector on E-network compensator (A28/3) and disconnect
10	Unscrew antenna connections
11	Unscrew bolts (5)
12	Remove E-network compensator (A28/3)
13	Install in the reverse order
