Removal & Installation
- Raise vehicle and support. Remove wheels. Disconnect brake pad wear indicator sensor (if equipped). Using a punch, remove retaining pins for brake pads. Remove spring clip. Remove brake pads. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
- Replace brake pad wear indicator sensor if insulation layer on contact plate is worn through or if sensor or wiring are damaged. Before installing new pads, press pistons into caliper.
