| Removal, installation | |||
| 1 | Open cover (1) on left and right taillamp | ||
| 2 | Loosen paneling on rear center piece (2) at top and swing down | ||
| 3 | Unhook mounting lugs on trunk lid lock actuator (S49) | ||
| 4 | Press out pull relief for electrical lead | ||
| 5 | Pull out electrical lead | ||
| 6 | Press off pneumatic line with open end wrench (7 mm) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew mounting screws for trunk lid lock | ||
| 8 | Unscrew lock (10) with trunk lid IR receiver (A26/3) | ||
| 9 | Loosen retaining bolt (11) | ||
| 10 | Disconnect electrical wiring harness (12) | ||
| 11 | Disconnect trunk lid IR receiver (A26/3) | ||
| 12 | Reinstall in opposite order |
