| Both front seats | move forward. |
| Front seat backrest | place in the completely flat position and front rear seat cushions upwards. |
| Screws (arrows) | unscrew from the lining (1) (2 pieces, WAF 8). |
| Front lining (1) | tilt downwards and remove forwards. |
| Screws (arrows) | unscrew from front seat cushion (2 pieces, WAF 10). |
| Seat cushions | remove forwards from seat frame whilst driving out to the rear with the two brackets. |
| Screws (arrows) | unscrew from the rear seat backrest (4) (4 pieces, WAF 10). |
| Rear seat backrest (4) | place in the upright position using operating switch. |
| Cover (2) | press out upwards from the lock on the head restraint clip and remove forwards. |
| Electric connector | separate from head restraint drive. |
| Nuts (6 and 7) | unscrew from the connecting linkage (10) of the upper backrest adjusting gear (14) (2 pieces), then press out threaded bolt (8 and 9) and remove. |
| Cable strap (arrow, for item 17) | open. |
| Wooden surround (15) on storage box (18) | push rearwards approx. 5 mm and then lift out upwards. |
| Plug connector (16) | detach from operating switch. |
| Cable (17) for multi-contour backrest | remove from storage box (18). |
| Rear seat backrest (4) | remove. |
| Install in opposite order | follow installation note! |
Installation note
It is essential to replace bush (5) after dismantling pin (10).
