Driving out and driving in differential pin and roll pin - AR35.31-P-0560-02A

Removal:

Using a suitable drift, hammer roll pin (19) for the differential pinion shaft (16) out of the differential case (13).
Use assembly arbor to knock differential pinion shaft (16) out of differential case (13).
With 185 mm dia. ring gear, use assembly arbor 123 589 06 15 00.

With 198 mm dia. ring gear, use assembly arbor 126 589 02 15 00.

Installation:

Use assembly arbor to knock differential pinion shaft (16) into differential case (13).
In the process pay attention to the bore for the roll pin (19).

With 185 mm dia. ring gear, use assembly arbor 123 589 06 15 00.

With 198 mm dia. ring gear, use assembly arbor 126 589 02 15 00.
Knock in new roll pin (19) until it is seated centrally in differential pinion shaft (16).
