Move back adjusting ring of self-adjusting clutch - AR25.10-P-0100-01GC

  1. Place cover stop (8) of pressure plate on support (10).

  2. Fit suitable tool (e.g. used thrust bearing (11) of clutch mechanism of manual transmission 717.4) onto spring washer (6).
  3. Using the press (12), press the disk spring (6) carefully in the direction of the arrow until the adjusting ring (7) is free and maintain the pressure.
  4. Using a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver) through one of the elongated holes, turn back the adjusting ring (7) counterclockwise up to the marking (arrow).
  5. Hold the adjusting ring (7) in the turned-back position and relieve the load on the disk spring (6).
