Checking regulating valve for ease of movement - AR27.10-P-0280-02A

  1. Remove locking ring (40) and disconnect helical gear (41).

    IMPORTANTInstallation  : Mount helical gear (41) so that the driver pin engages in the bore in the helical gear.

  2. Move flyweights, checking the regulating valve in the openings for ease of movement (arrows).

    IMPORTANT It must be possible to move the regulating valve easily, if necessary wash out and blow out the centrifugal governor with petroleum ether. If it is not possible to free off the regulating valve in this way, replace the centrifugal governor.
