Removing and installing driven plate with ring gear - RA03001044100X(03-4100)

Retaining lock for crankshaft/ring gear installed (03-5000) .

Stretch bolts (4) or internal torx bolt	unscrew, screw on.
Stretch bolts (4)	inspect, see table.
Internal torx bolt	replace.
Stretch shank bolt (4)	replace if minimum stretch shank shaft dia. (d) does not exist.
Driven plate with ring gear (11) and plate (8)	remove, install.
Dowel pin (6)	note.

NOTE: If no tightening angle wrench is available, the stretch shank bolts can be tightened further to the specified angle in a single operation with a wrench socket and tommy bar. A flexi-rod torque wrench must not be used for tightening according to degrees of angle in order to avoid angle errors.

The internal torx bolts installed as of May 1995 must be used only once and should be replaced after each removal and installation operation.
