Model 124, 129, 140, 168, 202, 208, 210, 414
- The repair to be performed should be economical, e.g. the costs for labor and material (without painting) should not exceed 75 % of the replacement part prices.
- Repair with materials from Teroson plastic repair box in the event of damages to:
- bumper paneling, bumper protective moldings on all models.
- Front fender on models 168, 414 in form of abrasions deeper than 1 mm
- Cracks and holes < 40 mm.
Exception: Tailgate on models 168, 414. Here repair only abrasions deeper than 1 mm.
- Drill hole at end of cracks with a 5 mm dia. bit
- Small belt sanders are recommended for sanding work for preparing plastic repair
Round orbital sanders are recommended for sanding work on the cured plastic repair point and preparation for paint-work.
- Sand repaired area only on side to be painted.
- Abrasions < 1 mm can be repaired with the usual paint repair method
