Checking and adjusting slip clutch on tilting/sliding roof motor - ra77001400195x(0195)

CHECK

Tilting/sliding roof half-way open.
Torque wrench (Fig 1) attach to emergency crank drive through opening in side panelling.
Torque wrench hold, have second mechanic press tilting/sliding roof switch in the direction "close" and read off torque.
Nominal value  4-5 Nm. 
ADJUSTMENT

Panelling in trunk, left remove.
Plastic cap (Fig 1) pull off.
Hex. nut (Fig 1) increase or reduce torque by screwing in or out.
NOTE: Hold gear unit shaft with a 6 mm open-end wrench to prevent from turning.
Plastic cap press on completely (turn hex. nut slightly, if required) and check torque, readjust, if required.
IMPORTANT The slip clutch should not lock up under any circumstances; otherwise the tube would be widened at the front and bend.
Panelling install.
