Removal and installation of electric window lift motor in driver's door - ra72001400186x(0186)

Model 140 - A. Sedan, B. Coupe 

Preliminary work:

Door liner on driver's door removed (Removal and installation of the lining on the driver's door  )

A. Sedans

Removal 

Vapor seal below door liner pull off.
Couplings (2 each) on window lift motor pull off.
Cable straps (1) open.
Intorx screws (2) (Tx 30) screw out (9 Nm).
Window lift motor remove.

Installation 

Reinstall in opposite order.

IMPORTANT The window lift motor must be resynchronized (basic adjustment). For this purpose close window with window lift switch (automatic closing control does not function) and allow window to run against stop for 1-2 s.

B. Coupes

Vapor seal below door liner pull off.
Electrical connections on motor for electric window disconnect.
lift  
Inner Torx screws (Tx30) screw out (3 each).
Motor for electric window lift remove.
Reinstall in opposite order.
NOTE: The motor for the electrically operated window must be resynchronized (basic adjustment). For this purpose close window with electric window switch (not in automatic closing mode) and allow to run against stop for 1 - 2 s.
