Removal and installation of Bowden cables for the air distributor switch - ra83001400124x(0124)

A. Cable for footwell flap, B. Cable for defroster outlet Model 140 with automatic heater control 

Operation No. of Job Texts and Work Units, Standard Texts and Flat Rates:

A. Bowden cable for footwell flap

Automatic heater control system Remove (Removal and installation of the automatic heater control unit  ).
Air volume switch Remove (Removal and installation of the air volume switch  ).
Air distributor switch Remove (Removal and installation of the air distributor switch  ).
Cover for footwell flap mechanism Open and unhook Bowden cable (32, arrow).
Install In the reverse sequence. Check function of system before mounting the control unit.
  IMPORTANT After completing the work: Erase fault memory in control unit (Diagnosis Manual - Climate Control).

B. Bowden cable for defroster outlet

Automatic heater control system Remove (Removal and installation of the automatic heater control unit  ).
Air volume switch Remove (Removal and installation of the air volume switch  ).
Air distributor switch Remove (Removal and installation of the air distributor switch  ).
Instrument cluster Remove (REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ).
Expose Bowden cable Slit open insulation mat along Bowden cable.
Cover cap for Bowden cable Open and unhook Bowden cable (31, arrow).
Bowden cable Remove from center console.
Install In the reverse sequence and check function before fitting the instrument cluster and automatic heater control system.
IMPORTANT After completing the work: Erase fault memory in control unit (Diagnosis Manual - Climate Control).
