Removal and installation of driver's seat cushion - ra91001400104x(0104)

Model 140 

Preliminary work:

Driver's seat removed (Removal and installation of driver's seat  )

Cover on seat guide rails removed

Seat cushion position toward front as far as stop using adjusting wheel (1).
Adjusting wheel (1) and handle (2) remove. Adhere to installation note!
Switch (3) for lumbar support remove upwards and detach cable.
Screws (arrows) on panelling (4) remove toward front.
Screws (2 pieces) on handle (5) for back/front adjustment on seat frame remove, WAF 8 5 Nm
Cable from belt buckle to connection strip and rubber strap (2 pieces) on seat frame unclip or detach.
Seat cushion (10) turn into the removal position using the adjusting wheel (1). To do this, the screws (7 to 9) must be accessible.
Screw (6 and 7) screw out.
Screw (8 and 9) screw out, screw in longer screw at the rear when installing, 10 Nm.
Seat cushion (10) remove from seat frame toward front.
Reinstall in opposite order.

Installation note 

Adjusting wheel (1) must be replaced after dismantling.

Removal, installation 

  1. Position seat cushion toward front up to the stop using the adjusting wheel (1).
  2. Detach adjusting wheel (1) and handle (2).
  3. Remove switch (3) for lumbar support upwards and detach cable.

  4. Screw out screws (arrows) on panelling (4).
  5. Remove panelling (4) toward front.

  6. Unscrew screws (arrows) on handle (5), WAF 8, 5 Nm and remove handle (5).

  7. Unclip cable from belt buckle to connection strip and detach rubber strap (2 pieces) on cushion frame (arrows).

  8. Turn seat cushions into the removal position using the adjusting wheel (1). The screws (6 and 7) must be accessible for this.
  9. Screw out screw (6 and 7) (10 Nm).

  10. Screw out screw (8 and 9), screw in the longer screw at the rear when installing.

  11. Remove seat cushion (10) from seat frame toward front.
